Abstract

ABSTRACT The development of a Google Sites-based Learning Management System for elementary school science subjects aimed to create an interactive and engaging learning platform. This study employed the 4-D model consisting of four stages: Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. In the Define stage, learning needs and student characteristics were identified, focusing on the Human Circulatory System material. The Design stage involved creating an intuitive interface, organizing learning content, and ensuring user-friendly navigation. During the Develop stage, the LMS was tested and refined based on feedback from material and design experts, achieving feasibility ratings of 95% and 86%, respectively. Product trials showed that students responded positively, with an average satisfaction score of 83.91%, indicating high suitability for learning activities. In the Disseminate stage, the LMS was introduced to sixth-grade teachers, highlighting its features, usage, and potential for adaptation. The findings confirmed that the developed LMS effectively supports science learning, offering a flexible and inclusive learning environment that enhances student participation and contextual learning experiences. Keywords: Learning Management System, Google Sites, Elementary Science Learning ABSTRAK Pengembangan Learning Management System (LMS) berbasis Google Sites untuk mata pelajaran IPA di sekolah dasar bertujuan menciptakan platform belajar yang interaktif dan menarik. Penelitian ini menggunakan model 4-D yang terdiri atas empat tahap: Define (Pendefinisian), Design (Perancangan), Develop (Pengembangan), dan Disseminate (Penyebaran). Pada tahap Pendefinisian, kebutuhan belajar dan karakteristik peserta didik diidentifikasi dengan fokus pada materi Sistem Peredaran Darah Manusia. Tahap Perancangan meliputi pembuatan antarmuka yang intuitif, pengorganisasian konten pembelajaran, dan navigasi yang ramah pengguna. Selama tahap Pengembangan, Learning Management System (LMS) berbasis Google Sites diuji dan disempurnakan berdasarkan masukan dari ahli materi dan desain, dengan persentase kelayakan masing-masing sebesar 95% dan 86%. Uji coba produk menunjukkan respons positif dari peserta didik dengan rata-rata skor kepuasan sebesar 83,91%, yang menunjukkan kesesuaian tinggi untuk kegiatan belajar. Pada tahap Penyebaran, Learning Management System (LMS) berbasis Google Sites diperkenalkan kepada guru kelas enam dengan penekanan pada fitur, penggunaan, dan potensi adaptasinya. Hasil penelitian mengonfirmasi bahwa Learning Management System (LMS) berbasis Google Sites yang dikembangkan efektif mendukung pembelajaran IPA, menyediakan lingkungan belajar yang fleksibel dan inklusif serta meningkatkan partisipasi dan pengalaman belajar yang kontekstual.   Kata Kunci: Learning Management System, Google Sites, Pembelajaran IPA SD
