Abstract

Quality education is greatly influenced by the role of the principal as the main leader in an educational institution. The principal has a crucial role in creating an effective learning environment, where the leadership style applied greatly affects the quality of education. This study aims to analyze the role of educational leadership in improving the quality of learning in elementary schools. The method used in this study is a literature study, by analyzing various relevant library sources to identify the relationship between principal leadership and improving the quality of learning. The results of the study indicate that principals who adopt transformational and participatory leadership styles can create an innovative learning environment, support teacher professional development, and improve student achievement. The success of the implementation of this leadership is supported by a clear vision, strong motivation, and ongoing academic supervision. This study provides important insights into the role of the principal in improving the quality of learning in elementary schools through effective leadership.
