Abstract

This study aims to implement the Lesson Study method in teaching metamorphosis to improve the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 6 Kota Bengkulu. Based on initial observations, students faced difficulties in understanding the abstract concepts of metamorphosis, resulting in low academic achievement. Lesson Study is a collaborative approach that involves teachers in designing, implementing, and reflecting on the teaching process to enhance the quality of instruction. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with a Lesson Study approach, which involves three stages: planning (plan), implementation (do), and reflection (see). This study focuses on evaluating the implementation of Lesson Study and its impact on students' learning outcomes, measured through tests and observations. The research results are expected to positively contribute to improving students' understanding of metamorphosis and to enhance teachers' professionalism through continuous collaboration.
