PENGARUH PENERAPAN GAME EDUKASI TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS IV PADA MATA PELAJARAN BAHASA INGGRIS DI SD SUDIANG MAKASSAR

This study discusses the effect of educational games on the learning outcomes of fourth grade students in English subjects at SD Negeri Sudiang Makassar. The basic problem of this research is where students feel bored in learning, less active and have difficulty in understanding the material so that it affects student learning outcomes. The aim is to know how the learning outcomes of fourth grade students in English subjects before and after the application of educational games, to know the application of educational games to learning outcomes, and to know the effect of educational games on learning outcomes. This study uses a quantitative approach with a type of quasi-experimental design research and uses subjects namely class IV A as a control class and class IV B as an experimental class. Data was collected through observation, pretest, posttest, questionnaire and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are descriptive statistical analysis and inferential analysis including independent sample t-test with the help of IBM SPSS Version 22. The results show the Sig (2-tailed) value is less than 0.05, rejecting the null hypothesis (Ho), and accepting the alternative hypothesis (Ha). Thus, it is concluded that the application of educational games has a significant positive effect on the learning outcomes of fourth grade students in English subjects at SD Negeri Sudiang Makassar.Downloads
