IMPLEMENTASI MAQOSHID SYARI’AH DALAM KAJIAN MANAJEMEN PENDIDIKAN ISLAM DI SMPIT BAITUSSALAM PRAMBANAN YOGYAKARTA

This research highlights the implementation of maqasid shariah in educational policy-making at SMPIT Baitussalam Prambanan Yogyakarta. The research problem focuses on how maqasid shariah principles are applied to create policies aligned with Islamic values in educational management. The study employs qualitative methods with a naturalistic descriptive approach, utilizing semi-structured interviews and direct observations conducted at the school over two months, from May to June 2024. The results indicate that maqasid shariah serves as a crucial foundation in policy-making at SMPIT Baitussalam, with specific attention to five key aspects: protecting religion (hifz al-din), life (hifz al-nafs), intellect (hidz al-aql), lineage (hifz al-‘ird), and property (hifz al-mal). These findings underscore that educational policies based on maqasid shariah can enhance the relevance and effectiveness of Islamic education in a modern context.Downloads
