URGENSI PENYULUHAN HUKUM CYBERBULLYING DAN UU ITE DALAM PENINGKATAN KESADARAN HUKUM

The phenomenon of cyberbullying is becoming increasingly concerning with the development of information and communication technology globally. Children and teenegers, as active social media and internet user, are particulary vulnerable to the negative impacts of cyberbullying. This study aims to increase legal awareness regarding cyberbullying and the information and electronic transactions law (uu ite) through a legal counseling program at SMP Nasional KPS and SMA Patra Dharma in Balikpapan. The program consists of interviews with school authorities and students, followed by a series of educational sessions about the definitions, psychological impacts, and legal regulations related to cyberbullying. The results show a significant improvement in students' understanding of cyberbullying and legal consequences under UU ITE. Despite some challenges like limited time and resources, the program effectively raises awareness and promotes responsible social media use among students.Downloads
