Abstract

The research is motivated by the fact that children's creativity can be developed through play because if it is balanced with play, children can learn to control themselves, understand life, understand their own world. This research aims to describe the planning, implementation and evaluation of activities to develop children's creativity through playing with colors using thread as a medium for children aged 5-6 years at PAUD Semai Harapan Bangsa. This research used descriptive qualitative research with 13 children as subjects. Data was collected through observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this research was descriptive qualitative. The steps in starting research activities using color games with thread media are as follows: (1) Planning to develop children's creativity through color games with thread media for children aged 5-6 years at PAUD Semai Harapan Bangsa (2) Planning to develop children's creativity through playing with colors using thread as a medium for children aged 5-6 years at PAUD Semai Harapan Bangsa. (3) Evaluation of activities to develop children's creativity through playing with colors using threads for children aged 5-6 years at PAUD Semai Harapan Bangsa. The results of this research in color games using thread as a medium, there were 13 children with 25 indicators. used, the number of children 11 children received the criteria for developing according to expectations (BSH) and 2 children received the criteria for starting to develop (MB). The results of the study obtained a score of at least 67 with the Criteria Starting to Develop (MB) and a maximum of 87 with the Criteria Developing. As Expected (BSH) and from these results it is said to be successful because it exceeds the average success indicators for the Developing According to Expectations (BSH) criteria.
