This research aims to determine the effect of Project Based Learning (PjBL) on creative thinking abilities in class VI students. The Project Based Learning (PjBL) model provides problems and is given encouragement to solve these problems with the knowledge and skills possessed by students which can motivate students to develop deeper creative thinking abilities. This research was carried out at MIN Singkawang. The type of research used is quantitative research with Quasi Experimental Design, with a Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design design. The population in this study was all class VI MIN Singkawang. This research uses the type of sampling in this research, namely simple random sampling, that is, taking sample members from the population is carried out randomly without paying attention to the stages in the population. The class used as a sample is class VI. Where class VI consists of 2 classes, namely class A and class B. Class VI A is the experimental class because it will be given a treatment, while class VI B is the control class not given treatment. The research results concluded: 1) There are differences in the creative thinking abilities of students using the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model assisted by Puzzle media and conventional learning models in class VI MIN Singkawang students. 2) There was an increase in students' creative thinking abilities after implementing the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model assisted by Puzzle media on creative thinking abilities in class VI MIN Singkawang students.Downloads
