PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN METODE PEMBELAJARAN RADEC UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN BERPIKIR KRITIS SISWA

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out whether the use of the RADEC learning model has an effect on improving students' critical thinking skills. This type of research is an experiment with a pre-experimental research design, one group pre-test-post-test type. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 4 Jalaksana involving 26 grade IV students. The pretest is carried out before the learning process to measure students' initial knowledge, while the posttest is carried out after the learning process to assess the increase in students' understanding and skills. The results of the hypothesis test show a significance value of 0.000. Because the significance value is 0.000 < 0.05, the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (H1) is accepted. So it can be concluded that there is a significant difference in the critical thinking skills of class IV students at SD Negeri 4 Jalaksana after using the RADEC learning model. Apart from that, the N-Gain test results show a value of 0.5825 which is included in the medium criteria, indicating an increase in students' critical thinking skills. Thus, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the RADEC learning model to improve students' critical thinking skills. Future research is expected to use the RADEC learning model to improve students' critical thinking skills. Keywords: RADEC learning model and critical thinking skills
