Abstract

This study aims to examine in depth the role and benefits of conclusions in writing scientific papers, especially in the field of educational management. Conclusions are important elements that summarize research results, provide a final picture, and offer recommendations or practical implications. However, the importance of conclusions in strengthening the main arguments of research is often overlooked. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collection through document analysis of 50 scientific papers in the field of educational management from various accredited journals. The analytical tool used in this study is the content analysis technique, which focuses on identifying, coding, and categorizing information related to the function of conclusions. The results of the study indicate that conclusions have three main functions in scientific papers in educational management, namely (1) strengthening the main arguments of the research, (2) providing practical recommendations for educational policy, and (3) summarizing results that are relevant to the educational context being studied. Furthermore, a well-formulated conclusion can help readers understand the overall scientific contribution of the research and offer concrete solutions to the problems raised. This study concludes that an effective conclusion plays a crucial role in clarifying the core message of the research and has important implications for the development of scientific papers in the field of educational management. Recommendations are given for scientific paper writers to place more emphasis on designing structured and relevant conclusions.
