Abstract

The quality of education in Indonesia still lags behind neighboring countries. Several factors make the quality of education in our country low, including limited access to education, the quality of teachers and education personnel, and so on. So that indirectly it will have a real impact on the learning outcomes and quality of students. Based on the theoretical study that the researchers studied, it turns out that there is an inconsistent influence of the independent variables (X) which include: principal leadership, teacher performance, competence, school culture, school facilities and infrastructure, quality of learning, the role of students' parents, as well as independent variables another to the dependent variable (Y), namely student learning outcomes. The research gap that researchers obtained from several previous studies provides researchers with the opportunity to use moderating variables. The type of research used is quantitative research, the data collected in this research is existing data. The research results include: (1) the principal's leadership has no effect on student learning outcomes; (2) there is a positive and significant influence between teacher performance on student learning outcomes; (3) there is no positive and significant influence between school culture on student learning outcomes; (4) there is a positive and significant role of parents in moderating the influence of the principal's leadership on student learning outcomes; (5) there is a positive and significant role of parents in moderating the influence of teacher performance on student learning outcomes; (6) there is no positive and significant role for parents in moderating the influence of school culture on student learning outcomes.
