PENGARUH MEDIA MONOPOLI ANGKA RAHASIA (MONARA) TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS DAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA KELAS V SEKOLAH DASAR

The background to this problem is the low level of critical thinking and student learning outcomes in grade 5 elementary school mathematics subjects due to the lack of application of learning media in the teaching and learning process. This research aims to determine the influence of MONARA media on students' critical thinking abilities and learning outcomes. The research method used uses a quantitative approach of the quasi-experimental type with a nonequivalent control group design. The sample was taken using non-probability sampling involving 46 students at Pucanganom Sidoarjo State Elementary School. The results of data analysis show that the percentage of observations of critical thinking skills in the control class was 48.1% in the less critical category, while in the experimental class it was 83.3% in the critical category. The control class pretest learning results obtained a significant value of 0.176 and the posttest was 0.066, more than (>) 0.05, meaning the data was normally distributed. The experimental class pretest learning results obtained a significant value of 0.191 and the posttest 0.103, more than (>) 0.05, meaning the data was normally distributed. The results of the MONARA media hypothesis t test on critical thinking skills and learning outcomes obtained a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, which means Ho rejected and Ha accepted. It was concluded that there was an influence of MONARA Media on critical thinking skills and mathematics learning outcomes for grade V elementary school.Downloads
