Abstract

Technology and learning media are one of the important factors that determine student learning success, therefore it is important for teachers to be able to take advantage of these two items. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of the use of lapbook media on student learning outcomes. This study adopts a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental research design, in the form of a one group pretest-posttest design where there is only one group of subjects. The research population includes all grade IV students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah state 1 Banyumas, with a sample consisting of 25 grade IV students of Abu Bakar who received treatment in the form of the use of lapbook media. The data collection techniques used were tests and documentation, while data analysis used normality tests, homogeneity tests, and t-tests with two average differences. The results of the study showed a tcount value of 7,906, exceeding the ttable value at the significance level of α = 0.05 with the degree of freedom (df) = 19 which was 2,093. This shows that there is a significant influence of the use of lapbook media on the learning outcomes of Abu Bakar's fourth grade students. Thus, these results prove that the use of lapbook media has a significant positive impact on student learning outcomes in social studies subjects in grade IV Abu Bakar at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah State 1 Banyumas.
