Abstract

The problem in this research is the lack of children's numeracy skills in Aisyiyah Cambaya, Gowa Regency. This research aims to improve children's numeracy skills through number blocks.The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which consists of two cycles where each meeting is held three times. The research procedure includes implementation planning, observation and reflection. The subjects of this research were children from group A Aisyiyah Cambaya, Gowa Regency, with a total of 15 children consisting of boys and girls. Data collection techniques are observation sheets and documentation. The data analysis used is descriptive qualitative.Each cycle experienced an increase, the results of the research showed that in the first cycle of 15 children in improving their numeracy skills, the average score of the children was at the Starting to Develop (MB) criteria, while in the second cycle the average child obtained Very Good Developing abilities (BSB). ). Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that the numeracy skills of young children at Kindergarten Aisyiyah Cambaya, Gowa Regency through the media of number blocks have increased.
