Strengthening the profile of Pancasila students is currently very necessary, especially in implementing the Merdeka curriculum. It's just that in the implementation of the learning, the strengthening of the Pancasila student profile has not yet been seen. This research aims to improve students' critical reasoning abilities through the problem based learning model in Pancasila Education Lessons in class V at SDN 88 Bengkulu City, totaling 29 students. This type of research is classroom action research which is carried out in 2 cycles, each cycle consisting of four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. In cycle I, learning activities were carried out using the PBL model, but students were still unable to carry out group discussion activities, so that students' critical reasoning abilities had not yet reached the specified criteria for completeness. So that in Cycle II the implementation of learning was carried out by better organizing students in group discussion activities, this showed an increase in students' critical reasoning abilities. Data collection techniques used are through observation and tests. The results of the research show that there is an increase in each cycle. This increase can be seen in the average percentage of students' critical reasoning in the pre-cycle, namely 58%, Cycle I 67%, and increasing in Cycle II to 76%. So the classroom action research to improve students' critical reasoning abilities through the problem based learning model was declared successful because it had achieved students' critical reasoning scores above 73%.Downloads
