Abstract

This research aims to develop a learning media, namely padubil media to increase learning interest in learning mathematics in grade III elementary school. The media is seen from the validity, effectiveness and increase in interest in learning mathematics. The type of method used is Research and Development (R&D) through the ADDIE model with 5 (five) stages and quantitative and qualitative data analysis techniques. The resulting product is in the form of padubil media that can be applied to elementary school mathematics learning. Based on the results of the study, the average percentage of media validity was 89.97%, the effectiveness result was 94.8% and there was an increase in learning interest in mathematics learning through the results of initial observation and a questionnaire of learning interest after using padubil media. With the conclusion that padubil media is declared valid to be used as a learning medium that can increase students' interest in learning mathematics in grade III elementary school.
