PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA WAYANG 3D BERBASIS KEARIFAN LOKAL KEDIRI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN BERCERITA SISWA KELAS III SEKOLAH DASAR

The low storytelling ability of grade III students in Indonesian language subjects, especially in the material of explaining messages and retelling the contents of fairy tales orally. To anticipate this problem, students must be equipped with storytelling/speaking skills by combining the characteristics of children who like to play, namely in the form of 3D media or abstract forms. This is a problem that must be researched immediately. This study aims to determine 1) the validity, 2) effectiveness, and 3) practicality of 3D puppet learning media based on Kediri local wisdom. This research is a development research (R&D) with the ADDIE model through five stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. This research was conducted at SDN Kraton and SDN Ngadi, Mojo District with 43 students as trial subjects. Data collection techniques include 1) validation questionnaires by material experts and media experts, 2) pretests and posttests in experimental and control classes, and 3) practicality questionnaires for students and teachers as users. The results of this study indicate that 1) the results of the product validity test obtained 90.00%, with very valid criteria, 2) the results of the product effectiveness test using the Pretest and Posttest in the experimental and control classes carried out with the t-test (T Test) obtained a significant value of 2-tailed is 0.000 (sig. = <0.05) so that there is a difference in value between the experimental class and the control class, 3) the results of the product practicality test obtained a value of 93.5% with very practical criteria. From the results of the product test conducted, it can be concluded that the 3D puppet product based on Kediri local wisdom has met the criteria of being very valid for use, proven to be effective and very practical in increasing creativity in storytelling/speaking in grade III elementary schools.
