HUBUNGAN GAME ONLINE TERHADAP PERILAKU SOSIAL SISWA KELAS IV SDN JURUMUDI 1 KOTA TANGERANG

Abstract

This research aims to determine the relationship between online games and the social behavior of fourth grade students at SDN Jurumudi 1, Tangerang City. This research uses a quantitative approach using survey methods using SPSS statistics. The population in this study were 2 class IV students at SDN Jurumudi 1, Tangerang City, totaling 58 students. The sample in this study was 48 students using simple random sampling techniques. Data collection used an online game questionnaire with a Likert scale and a social behavior questionnaire test with a Likert scale. The results of this research show a significant relationship between online games and the social behavior of class IV students at Jurumudi 1 Public Elementary School, Tangerang City, with a calculated r value or Pearson correlation of 0.672 with a significant value of 0.000. This means that if a student's interpersonal intelligence is high, the student's speaking skills will be better, and vice versa. This can be proven by the coefficient of determination value which is 45.15% and the remaining 54.85% is influenced by other factors.   Keywords: elementary school, online games, social behavior
