PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE MAKE A MATCH TERHAPAP HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS V SD

This research is based on the learning process that has not shown interesting progress and has not been able to encourage active participation from students. This situation indirectly has a negative effect on student learning achievement in mathematics subjects which is still relatively low. Therefore, efforts are needed to use more innovative and interesting learning models to improve student learning outcomes in mathematics subjects. This study aims to obtain information on whether there is an effect of the application of the make a match type cooperative learning model on the mathematics learning outcomes of 5th grade elementary school students.This study is an experimental research that uses a quasi-experimental design research design, with a nonequivalent control group design. The research location was carried out at SDN 15 Koto Baru and SDN 12 Koto Baru, Koto Baru District, Dharmasraya Regency. The research sample consisted of 32 students who were students of grade 5. The data collection instruments used are a multiple-choice test of 15 items, and an essay of 5 items, which have been tested for validity and reliability.The results of this study show that the average post-test score of the control class is 69.44 and the average of the experimental class is 85.71. The hypothesis test uses the t-test from the calculation results obtained by sig < (0.002 < 0.05) which means that the t-test rejects the existence of H0 and accepts Hɑ which means that there is an influence of the make a match type cooperative learning model in grade 5 elementary school.Downloads
