Mathematics is a lesson that is less popular with class V students at SDN Pakintean 01 because of the students' lack of understanding of the material provided. Increasing students' interest in learning can be implemented with new things to improve students' thinking abilities, especially critical thinking skills. Researchers will develop Android-based Smart apps creator learning media which is expected to facilitate students' understanding of learning material. This research aims to develop Android-based Smart apps creator learning media to improve critical thinking skills in class V measurement material. This research uses R&D/Research and Development as a type of research with Borg and Gall development steps. The results of this research obtained a score of 100% for media experts, 84.8% for material experts, and 88% for language experts in the "Very worthy" category. The results of product trials obtained a percentage of student and teacher responses of 91.07% and 94.6% and based on the results of implementation observations it was included in the "Very Feasible" category. The results of the research show that the Smart apps creator learning media has been successfully developed and is feasible and effective for improving the critical thinking skills of class V students. This is supported by the acquisition of an N-Gain value of 0.5794 with a percentage of 57.94% with an average difference of 43.44 from results of use trials.Downloads
