UPAYA MENINGKATKAN KREATIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR PADA MATA PELAJARAN IPAS DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE PEMBELAJARAN PJBL SISWA KELAS IV SDN JUNREJO 2 KOTA BATU

This Classroom Action Research (PTK) aims to increase creativity and learning outcomes in Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) subjects by applying the project based learning (PjBL) learning method to class IV students at SDN Junrejo 2, Batu City. This research uses the Kemmis and Mc Taggart model. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation of the learning process. The subjects of this research were 28 regular fourth grade students at SDN Junrejo 2, Batu City. The research results show that the application of the PjBL learning method has succeeded in increasing student creativity and learning outcomes in science subjects. The results of data analysis on student creativity showed that 29% increased in cycle I, and increased again to 54% in cycle II in the very creative category. Meanwhile, the increase in learning outcomes was 57% in cycle 1 and increased in cycle 2 to 86%. By involving students in learning projects that are relevant to everyday life and the surrounding environment, students become more active, creative and enthusiastic about learning. Apart from that, student learning outcomes also experienced a significant increase, especially in understanding concepts and applying knowledge in real contexts. In conclusion, the PjBL learning method has proven to be effective in increasing student creativity and learning outcomes in science and science subjects at SDN Junrejo 2, Batu City. Recommendations for further research are to provide training and assistance for teachers in applying the PjBL learning method more widely and to conduct similar research on other subjects and different levels of education.Downloads
