PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA FLIPBOOK BERBASIS FABEL UNTUK KEMAMPUAN MENGUKAPKAN GAGASAN SECARA LISAN PESERTA DIDIK KELAS II SDN PODOREJO 01

Abstract

This research is based on problems in learning Indonesian, one of which is learning media that could be more innovative so that students' enthusiasm decreases during the learning process, which also results in low Indonesian language learning outcomes. This research aims to develop and test the feasibility and effectiveness of flipbook-based learning media for the ability to express ideas orally to participants in class II, Podorejo 01. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method, the Borg & Gall model, which has been adapted to the circumstances and research needs and adapted by Sugiyono with 8 steps, namely: potential and problems; data collection; product design; design validation; design improvements; product trials; product revision; and trial use. The population in this study was class II students at SDN Podorejo 01, totaling 19 students. The data collection techniques are observation, questionnaires, tests, documentation, and interviews. Data analysis techniques use product data analysis, initial data analysis, and final data analysis. The final data analysis technique is the t-test and N-gain. The results of this research show that 1) media validation obtained a percentage of 96% of the category (very feasible), and 2) material validation was 97.75% of the category (very feasible). 3) The effectiveness of using fable-based flipbook media for the ability to express ideas orally for class II Podorejo students as a whole obtained 0.662 in the medium category. This research concludes that the flipbook-based learning medium that was developed is suitable and effective for use in learning Indonesian and making friends with diversity. Suggestions for further research include applying flipbook-based learning media to other learning content, preparing alternative devices when using the media, and paying attention to the number of trial groups.
