PENGEMBANGAN DAMPU TUMPENG SEBAGAI MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN MATERI MAKANAN SEHAT SISWA KELAS V SEKOLAH DASAR

The consumption of healthy foods among elementary school children remains a challenge despite the necessity of balanced nutrition for their growth and development. This study aims to develop a learning media, namely "Dampu Tumpeng", to introduce the concept of healthy eating to fifth-grade students. The "Dampu Tumpeng" utilizes the traditional game "Dampu Bulan", replacing the moon shape with a representation of a nutritious Indonesian dish, the "nasi tumpeng". By engaging with this interactive media, students are expected to understand the importance of selecting healthy foods and develop good eating habits from an early age. The research adopts the Research and Development (R&D) method, following the 4D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) model proposed by Thiagaradjan. Data collection involves observation, literature review, and media validation through expert evaluation. Quantitative descriptive analysis is employed to assess the validity of the developed learning media. The validation results indicate that the "Dampu Tumpeng" is a valid tool for teaching fifth-grade students about the significance of healthy eating. This research successfully produces a valuable learning resource to promote cognitive and motor skill development among students while fostering a deeper understanding of nutritious foods.Downloads
