This study employs the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method to enhance students' learning outcomes on cultural heritage material. The research consists of two cycles, Cycle I and Cycle II, each comprising one session. The aim of this study is to determine the effectiveness of using pop-up books as a medium to improve student comprehension. In the pre-cycle, 17 students did not complete the pre-test, and only 10 out of 27 students met the Learning Objectives Achievement Criteria (LOAC). However, students' learning outcomes significantly improved after the use of pop-up book media. The number of students meeting the LOAC increased to 15 in Cycle I, and the percentage of students achieving mastery rose to 37% in Cycle II. A total of 22 students achieved scores above the LOAC, indicating that 81% of the students met or exceeded the minimum standard. Additionally, the percentage of students not achieving mastery decreased from 63% in the pre-cycle to 19% in the second cycle. The results of this study indicate that the use of pop-up books as a teaching method effectively enhances students' understanding and achievement in topics related to cultural heritage. This medium fosters student creativity and critical thinking while providing an enjoyable and interactive learning experience.Downloads
