PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR PESERTA DIDIK MELALUI PENGGUNAAN MODEL PROBLEM-BASED LEARNING (PBL) PADA PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA KELAS V SD NEGERI 09 SURAU GADANG

Abstract

This study aims to describe how to improve student learning outcomes in mathematics learning using the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model in grade V of Public School Elementary 09 Surau Gadang. This type of research is classroom action research using qualitative and quantitative approaches. The subjects of this research were 25 students of class Vb of Public School Elementary 09 Surau Gadang in the January-June semester of the 2023/2024 school year. The result of this study show that: First, in the cycle 1 teaching module, the average percentage score was 87% (Good), increasing in cycle 2 with an average percentage score of 94% (Very Good). Second, the result of the implementation of the learning aspects of the teacher in cycle 1 obtained an average percentage score of 89% (Good), increasing in cycle 2 to 95% (Very Good). Third, the result of the implementation of the learning aspects of students in cycle 1 obtained an average percentage score of 89% (Good), increasing in cycle 2 to 95% (Very Good). Fourth, the learning outcomes of students in cycle 1 obtained an average of 72 (Sufficient), increasing in cycle 2 to 86 (Good). Thus, it can be concluded that the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model can improve student learning outcomes in mathematics learning in grade V of Public School Elementary 09 Surau Gadang.
