Abstract

This research was motivated by the lack of use of teaching materials that support the learning process in Indonesian language subjects, especially fairy tales. This research aims to develop and produce a valid and practical Bahasapedia (Indonesian encyclopedia) product. The research method in this research is Research and Development (RnD) with the ADDIE development model. The test subjects for this research were material expert lecturers, language experts, teaching materials experts, teachers and class III students at SDN Sukun 1 Malang City. Data collection instruments use questionnaires and documentation. The validation results by experts were declared very suitable for use based on feasibility tests obtained from 97.91% of material experts, 94.44% of language experts and 95.45% of teaching materials experts. The results of the questionnaire from the teacher's response obtained 97.91% and the student questionnaire obtained 96.96% in the "Very Practical" category because this teaching material can foster interest and motivate students to read, marked by students' high expressions of enthusiasm and joy when reading Bahasapedia (Indonesian encyclopedia). Based on these results, this fairy tale-based Bahasapedia (Indonesian encyclopedia) can be categorized as valid and practical to use as accompanying teaching material in the learning process.
