Abstract

This development research is motivated by the reality found in the field where teachers have difficulty in creating learning media, teachers also often experience network disruptions when accessing learning media on the internet, students are often saturated in the learning process, students who prefer to play rather than learn, students are less active in learning because of the lack of variety of learning media and students find it difficult to understand IPAS learning Many understanding theories are like historical material. This study aims to develop monopoly board media based on educational games in science learning in grade IV elementary school that is valid and practical. The type of research used is development (R&D) with the ADDIE model. The results of research on the development of monopoly board media based on educational games in IPAS learning in grade IV elementary school are valid and practical. The type of research used is development (R&D) with the ADDIE model. The results of this monopoly board media development research obtained validation results from three validators, namely aspects of media, material and language with an average percentage of 93.31% with valid categories. The results of the teacher response questionnaire in the research school showed that monopoly board media was very practical with an average percentage of 87.51% and the student response questionnaire showed that monopoly board media was very practical with an average percentage of 92.34%. Thus, it can be concluded that the educational game-based monopoly board media in IPAS learning in grade IV elementary school has been declared valid and very practical for use in learning.
