IMPLEMENTASI USAHA MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA PELAJARAN IPA MELALUI METODE PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF LEARNING KELAS VIII DI SMPN 1 PRAMBON

Education is a conscious effort deliberately designed to achieve predetermined goals. One of the goals of education is to improve the quality of human resources. Through good education, it will be easy for us to follow future developments, especially developments in the field of Science and Technology (IPTEK). Cooperative learning is a learning model that seeks to increase student participation, facilitate students with experience of leadership attitudes and decision making in groups, and provide opportunities for students to interact and learn together even though they come from different backgrounds. Based on the results of giving a questionnaire regarding interest in learning via a Google Form link to class VIII students at SMPN 1 Prambon, the results were that the science lesson was considered a difficult lesson for some students. The difficulty of the science lesson was influenced by the method given by the teacher, namely the lecture method, so it was not able to make students feel comfortable in the process of learning activities. This type of research is classroom action research. The results of the learning carried out by students in cycle I, 24 individuals completed and 12 individuals did not complete, the percentage of classical absorption completeness was 66% and the percentage of classical learning was 24%. There was an increase in the second cycle of learning that all students were declared complete, namely with classical learning completion reaching 100% with a classical absorption percentage of 90%.
