Abstract

This research began with the complete learning outcomes of students in class The learning provided has not been able to provide a significant impact on increasing the completeness of students' learning outcomes. Through the implementation of the two stay two stray type cooperative learning model, the aim is to optimize the increase in student learning outcomes. This research uses a classroom action research method with a quantitative approach to collect and analyze data and follows the Kemmis and Mc model. Taggart is in the form of a cycle, which consists of 4 stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The results of this research show positive developments. In cycle I, the average score of students was 80 with a learning completeness level of 62.96% or 17 students achieved a score ≥ 78. In cycle II there was an increase in the average score to 86.5 with a learning completeness level reaching 92 .59% or 25 students got a score ≥ 78. Overall, the class succeeded in achieving a learning completion level of 90%. So, it can be concluded that the implementation of the two stay two stray learning model is effective in improving student learning outcomes in class XI Ship Machining Engineering at SMKN Tambakboyo Tuban
