Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase in understanding of the use of capital letters in words on the material of upright letters through the play method assisted by word card media. This research is motivated by students who have difficulty in understanding the use of capital letters. This research is a qualitative research with the focus of the problem under study: 1) How is the application of the play method assisted by word card media to improve understanding of the use of capital letters in kara on the material of upright letters in class II MI Syarifuddin Wonorejo Lumajang? 2) Does the application of playing method assisted by word card media can improve the understanding of the use of capital letters in the word on the material of upright letters in class II MI Syarifuddin Wonorejo Lumajang? The results showed (1) The application of playing method assisted by word card media to improve the understanding of the use of capital letters in the word on the material of upright letters in class II MI Syarifuddin Wonorejo Lumajang. (2) the method of playing with the help of word card media can improve students' understanding of the use of capital letters in words on the material of upright letters as evidenced by the results of student scores that are above KKM.
