Abstract

The role of leaders at PT Telkom Padang City in improving employee performance is very necessary so that employees are professionally directed, so that it is easier to achieve a goal that they want to achieve together with other employees at PT Telkom Padang City so that they are more initiative in carrying out their duties and functions. In this case, as a leader at PT Telkom Padang City, you must be able to provide performance to all employees with support, direction, which motivates employees to work together in realizing the vision and mission. Leadership at PT Telkom Padang City is guided by AKHLAK principles which are in accordance with the BUMN Law. The leader's role is in coordinating, motivating and influencing, in order to hopefully improve employee performance. To achieve this goal, companies must be able to increase the professionalism of management and human resources, as well as improve the quality of services offered to the community. Therefore, this research was conducted in order to obtain an overview of the influence of leadership on the extent of the influence of leadership on employee performance at PT Telkom Padang. , how leadership can carry out its role in leading in accordance with the regulations applied and how leadership is able to harmonize individuals both inside and outside the organization. This research uses a qualitative, descriptive approach. Data collection techniques were carried out using observation, interviews, documentation techniques.
