Abstract

This research aims to analyze the improvement of speaking skills through the CTL approach. The type of research is qualitative research. The data collection method used is library research with emphasis on secondary data sources. The data collection technique was through the results of reviews of articles from the last five years indexed by Google Schoolar and the research took place in elementary schools using the keywords CTL, elementary school students, and speaking skills. The research results show that there are four articles with the type of experimental and classroom action research in the last five years that discuss improving speaking skills using the CTL model. The conclusion is that there is an increase in elementary school students' speaking skills with the CTL approach.
