In the learning process teachers must be able to create an inclusive, interesting and meaningful environment. Learning media has an important role in the teaching and learning process, so this research aims to determine the effectiveness of using pop-up book media in improving reading skills on Pancasila material in diversity in the VA SDN Julang class. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods with observation and documentation data collection. The results obtained by pop-up book learning media are effectively used as a media to improve reading skills, because students tend to like learning media that display interesting pictures and stories. This can be applied in pop-up book media, a book that contains 3-dimensional elements when the page is opened on the inside it can produce movement, integrating elements of creativity and more interesting visualization can enrich the understanding process and impoving reading skills.
