Abstract

This research was conducted based on the background of the problems faced by school principals in implementing the merdeka curriculum. This research aims to determine the principal's strategy for implementing a merdeka curriculum and the implications of implementing a merdeka curriculum in schools. Data collection techniques use interviews, documentation, and observation. Data analysis in this research uses the Miles and Huberman models. The research results show that the school principal has implemented three strategies the Ministry of Education and Culture designed. The implications of implementing an merdeka curriculum at MI Darul Hikmah Banjar Kemuning Sedati show that it can develop students' talents and interests and improve academic and non-academic achievements.
