School-Based Quality Improvement Management (MPMBS) is part of the school-based management program (SBM) which is the antithesis of centralized management through decentralization programs in the field of education and high community participation. This autonomy is given so that schools are more flexible in managing all resources by managing according to priority needs so that schools are more responsive to the needs of their users or the surrounding community. In the context of implementing education carried out by the SKB, the role of tutors is very important, especially in efforts to improve the quality of tutoring services in out-of-school education. Therefore, the competence of tutors must continue to be improved through formal and non-formal education, because the higher the competence, the more optimal it is in improving the quality of its services, therefore research is needed to understand it. current situation. This study aims to describe the efforts of Special Counselors of Yogyakarta in improving the quality of education and counseling services outside of school. This research also uses a qualitative approach in the form of descriptive methods and data collection procedures in the form of interviews, observations, and literature studies. While the objects of research are tutors, administrative implementers, tutors, supervisors, and learning residents, as well as data documentation/instruments of activities resulting from activities related to efforts to improve the quality of service in SKB Yogyakarta City.Downloads
