Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the needs for learning outside the classroom/outdoor learning for class IV elementary school fine arts learning. The scope of SBdP includes various art forms such as Fine Arts, Music, Dance and Crafts. Currently, there are several problems found in the fine arts learning process: (1) students tend to pay less attention to the teacher's explanations, resulting in an ineffective learning environment; (2) the skills taught to students are inadequate because teachers only rely on the lecture method where students only listen passively; (3) the curriculum is not adapted to students' needs because teachers only use teaching materials; and (4) teachers have not utilized the surrounding environment outside the classroom to engage students and use it as a source of fine arts education. The method used in this research is a quantitative method by distributing statement questionnaires to respondents. The subjects of this research were 40 respondents from SD 42 Bengkulu students. The research results show that from the facilities and infrastructure aspect, a score percentage of 77% was obtained in the good category. Judging from the aspect of teaching methods, the percentage score was 69% in the good category. In the learning media aspect, the percentage score was 68% in the sufficient category. In the teaching model aspect, the percentage score was 54% in the sufficient category. Judging from the aspect of the learning process, the score percentage was 79% in the good category. Judging from the interest aspect, students obtained a percentage score of 92% in the very good category. In the LKPD aspect, a percentage score of 73% was obtained in the good category. In the learning motivation aspect, a percentage score of 84% was obtained in the good category. Apart from that, the assessment obtained a score percentage of 88% in the very good category.
