Abstract

Application of the Concept Sentence Learning Model to Improve Learning Outcomes About Paragraph Writing Skills for Class V UPT SD Negeri 3 Watang Sidenreng. This study examines the application of the Concept Sentence learning model to improve the process and learning outcomes about the paragraph writing skills for class V UPT SD Negeri 3 Watang Sidenreng. This research was motivated by the low learning outcomes of students' Indonesia lessons in class V UPT SD Negeri 3 Watang Sidenreng. The purpose of this study was to find out how the process of applying the Concept Sentence model to improve the process and learning outcomes about paragraph writing skills class V UPT SD Negeri 3 Watang Sidenreng. The research approach used is a qualitative approach with the type of classroom action research (CAR). The subjects of this study were 19 class V students for the 2022/2023 academic year with 1 class teacher at UPT SD Negeri 3 Watang Sidenreng. This study focuses on student learning processes and outcomes. The instruments used were test sheets, observation and documentation using data collection techniques, namely teacher and student observation, student learning achievement tests and documentation. Data analysis used is data condensation, data presentation and conclusion. This research was conducted in 2 cycles, each cycle consisting of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The results of the research in cycle I are in qualification C (sufficient) and cycle II is in qualification B (good) and have achieved the predetermined indicators. So it can be concluded that learning through the application of the Concept Sentence learning model can improve the process and learning outcomes in paragraph writing skills material for class V UPT SD Negeri 3 Watang Sidenreng.
