Abstract

This Classroom Action Research (PTK) was carried out through learning activities on Saturdays in Pandeglang Regency involving ten students.  The aim of this research is to improve student learning achievement in science subjects through learning activities on Saturdays, which are carried out in three cycles.  The data collected in this research is qualitative and quantitative.  The results of the action test in the first cycle showed that three out of ten students succeeded in achieving the level of learning completeness, with a classical acceptance rate of 42% and a classical completeness rate of 30%.  In the second cycle, there was an increase, with five out of ten students reaching the level of learning completeness, and the classical acceptance rate was 70% and classical completeness was 50%.  In the third cycle, seven out of ten students succeeded in achieving learning completion, with a classical acceptance rate of 98% and a classical learning completion rate of 70%.  The results of this research show an increase from cycle to cycle, also showing an increase in student and teacher activity during the learning process.
