This research aims to determine educators' understanding of gender equality education for early childhood in the Tegalwaton Village Kindergarten. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative, data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation, data analysis techniques use data reduction, data presentation and data verification. Based on the research results, educators at Tarbiyatul Banin 30 Islamic Kindergarten and Tarbiyatul Banin 31 Islamic Kindergarten still lack understanding about gender equality in early childhood. This shows that there are still educators who misinterpret the meaning of gender and do not understand what gender and gender equality are. There are several attitudes of educators that deviate from gender equality, such as the focus of educators' attention only on boys, children's chairs are still made separately, educators still limit children's play and differentiate between children's games, games in the classroom are also not supported. learning. Almost all educators still use worksheets as teaching guides.Downloads
