This research was conducted because of curriculum changes caused by improvements to the previous curriculum. There are new aspects and stages in the education system that give rise to problems in the implementation process in the field (madrasah). On the other hand, in life in general, Indonesian society is entering the era of society 5.0. Where in this transition period, a new generation will be born who will face different life demands in the future. Therefore, the new curriculum must also pay attention to the characteristics of the generation born during the transition period of this era. The aim of this research is to analyze the concept and implementation of the independent curriculum at the MA level, and also to find out whether this independent curriculum supports learning in the Era of Society 5.0. The method in this research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques, interviews and documentation at MAN 1 Bitung for Aqidah Akhlak teachers. The results of this research are that the independent curriculum at MAN 1 Bitung has been implemented. Covers the obstacles and advantages, and their relationship to Society 5.0 learningDownloads
