ANALISIS GAYA BELAJAR PADA PESERTA DIDIK KELAS V DI SDN 1 JATILAWANG, BANYUMAS

Abstract

This study was conducted at SDN 1 Jatilawang with the aim of describing the learning styles of students, knowing the obstacles of students in understanding learning styles and describing how the teacher's solution facilitates different learning styles in grade V students of SDN 1 Jatilawang. Based on researcher observations at SDN 1 Jatilawang grade V, researchers found that students had difficulty adjusting the way of learning taught by the teacher with the learning styles of other students. This research uses descriptive qualitative research on learning style analysis. Data collection techniques used observation, documentation and interviews. This research uses 3 sources including teachers, parents and students. The results of this study show that: (1) Most grade V students tend to have a visual learning style, prefer to read rather than be read to, and rely heavily on the sense of sight.  (2) Students' obstacles in adjusting learning styles are that students are not focused and bored in learning and students are still slow in absorbing learning. (3) Teachers' solutions in overcoming different learning styles by routinely providing choices of activities that involve visual, auditory, and kinesthetic characters.
