This research is based on observations of children aged 7 years or the first year of elementary school and was carried out using a qualitative approach using the case study method. Data collection is done by observation and interviews. This study aims to describe the development of children with speech and language delays in terms of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects as well as their socio-emotional behavior. Interviews and observations are used as data collection techniques in this study. The data collection technique used is an interview technique as a source of information that can be collected to complete information or information. The selected interview is an unstructured interview. Every child must go through a different process of language development. However, every parent must be vigilant if their child has problems in language development. The causes of language development problems in children can appear during the child's growth and development. Of course, as parents, we need to understand the language development of children at their age. Usually from the age of one year, children begin to communicate with others through grunting or talking.Downloads
