Abstract

Early childhood has extraordinary uniqueness. They are experiencing rapid development and are very fundamental for their future life. They are always full of curiosity, dynamic, and active in observing and listening, as if they never feel tired in the learning process. Children are able to express their thoughts through language, so that other people can understand their thoughts. The environment in which children grow and develop plays an important role in shaping their personality and character. The family has an important role as the first informal educational institution for a child. This study aims to understand the influence of the family environment on language development in early childhood. This research will involve an in-depth analysis of how the family environment influences language development in early childhood. Researchers will conduct surveys and interviews with families who have early childhood to obtain information about communication and interaction practices within these families.
