Abstract

One indicator of the success of a school principal's leadership is measured by the quality of education in the school he leads. In the context of education, the notion of quality includes educational inputs, processes, and outputs (Ministry of National Education, 2001:5). The purpose of education itself is to educate humans, teach attitudes and characteristics as human beings who have reason, and so on. Education is divided into three levels, namely elementary, junior high, senior high and tertiary. The purpose of this level of education is none other than to place students according to age and also teach learning to suit the development of these students. So that the education received will be received properly and gradually.
