Abstract

This study aims to develop Doratoon-based animated video media on the Composition and Decomposition of Flat Shapes material for grade IV Elementary School. This study is a development research (Research and Development) using the ADDIE development procedure consisting of 5 stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The instrument used to collect data is a questionnaire given to several expert reviewers, namely material expert reviewers, learning media expert reviewers, learning expert reviewers and student responses. The validation score obtained from the material expert reviewer is 97.5. The learning media expert is 92.2. The learning expert is 92 and the student response is 96.6. From these scores, it can be said that the Doratoon-based animated video media on the Composition and Decomposition of Flat Shapes material that was developed is "Very Eligible" for use in the learning process. From the results of the implementation, it is known that there has been an increase in the learning outcomes of grade IV Elementary School students after using the developed learning media. The overall score of students' grades after using Doratoon-based animated video media on the Composition and Decomposition of Flat Shapes material is 81.25. At the evaluation stage, the average score obtained from all experts was 94.5. From this score, it can be said that the Doratoon-based animation video media on the Composition and Decomposition of Flat Shapes material developed is "Very Eligible" for use in the learning process.
