IMPLEMENTASI PROBLEM BASED LEARNING (PBL) DENGAN METODE PEER TEACHING DALAM MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA SMK PADA ELEMEN ESTIMASI BIAYA KONSTRUKSI

This Classroom Action Research (CAR) is motivated by low student learning outcomes in the Construction Cost Estimation element. This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of vocational students through the implementation of Problem Based Learning (PBL) with Peer Teaching method. Classroom action research uses 2 cycles, where each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The research subjects were students of class XII KGSP 3 SMK Negeri 5 Surabaya even semester of the 2023/2024 school year with a total of 32 students. Research data includes student learning outcomes from tests, observations and documentation. Data processing was carried out quantitatively on student learning outcomes in each cycle. Based on student learning results in cycle I, learning results were obtained with a completion percentage of 68.75%. In cycle II, learning results were obtained with a completion percentage of 87.5%. The increase in student learning outcomes in cycle I and cycle II shows that the implementation of Problem Based Learning (PBL) with the Peer Teaching method can improve student learning outcomes in the element of Construction Cost Estimation.Downloads
