Abstract

This research aims to describe the implementation of students' reading comprehension skills in social studies subject material on cultural diversity in grade 4 elementary school. The school used is SDN Sepande Sidoarjo. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research. The methods used are observation, student interviews and questionnaires to students, giving assignments in the form of LKPD and documentation. The data analysis used is data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research showed that students had increased reading comprehension after the research was carried out twice. Students become more aware of the cultural diversity around them.
