Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The file or document format must be in the form of doc, docx or rtf
  • The format of the document is in accordance with the style surrounding the Pendas journal: Basic Education Scientific Journal.
  • Have used Mendeley citation processing software
  • The article is not under consideration in other journals
  • SettingsArticles do not plagiarize, auto plagiarize, and have quoted in accordance with the correct scientific rules
  • The content of the article is relevant to the focus and scope of basic education journals, namely: research in elementary schools
  • Document Settings have never been published before
  • The document has never been published before
  • Bibliography must be last 10 years
  • The bibliography must include basic articles by citing at least 2 articles

Author Guidelines

  1. The manuscript has never been published in print media (offline) or online media, typed using Microsoft Office Word application or similar program, Arial font, 12 pt font, 1.5 spacing, A4 paper, minimum number of pages 8 maximum 15, with left margin 3 cm, top 3 cm, right 2.5 cm, and bottom 2.5 cm. Manuscripts must be submitted no later than one month before publication in the form of typed on paper as many as 2 copies with a copy of the CD file along with the file name to the editor's address, but endeavored to use the OJS system (Open Journal System). 
  2. Articles are written in Indonesian or foreign languages using good and correct language standards. 
  3. The articles that will be published in this journal are in the form of conceptual ideas, studies and application of theories, as well as literature discussions that are equipped with research results.
  4. The research results are presented with the following systematic writing: (1) title; (2) author's name; (3) abstract in Indonesian or English ± 250 words; (4) key words in Indonesian or English; (5) the introduction contains the background, problem formulation and research objectives; (6) literature discussion; (7) research results; (8) discussion; (9) conclusions and suggestions and (10) bibliography. 
  5. Each author must include a curriculum vitae containing: personal identity, educational history, and employment history.
