Negotiation techniques are a concept or method for conducting international meetings within the ASEAN Model framework. In the contemporary era of globalization, the ability to negotiate and conduct diplomacy in international simulations is a skill rarely possessed by young people, especially high school students. Negotiation skills are a fundamental skill required for young people to compete globally. An international simulation session addressing terrorism as a global threat is a strategic step, particularly for young people, and plays a role in preventing increasingly prevalent acts of terrorism in the contemporary era of globalization. SMA Negeri 1 Ngamprah is a senior high school located in Ngamprah District, West Bandung Regency. This school implements the "Merdeka" (independent) curriculum. In this community service activity, the method used is to introduce and teach the structure and techniques of negotiations, as well as negotiation procedures, through a simulation of the ASEAN Model Session. The activity procedure is carried out in three stages. First, a field survey is conducted to gather information on student interest in international relations and English. The second phase of the learning process involved inviting resource persons to share knowledge and practice formal English texts and articulation in formal negotiations. The third phase involved practicing a simulation of the ASEAN Model Session. This community service is expected to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the issue of terrorism as a global threat through a simulation of an international session within the ASEAN Model Session framework. It is hoped that this will foster students' interest in global issues and international relations, and develop their soft skills in negotiation and diplomacy techniques.Downloads
