Guide for Authors

Authors should submit papers that have been carefully proofread and polished. Manuscripts written in English are accepted with the understanding that they are original or extended version of previously published papers in conferences or in journals, or the work has been duly released for open publication by its official sponsors or granting institutions. The authors must refer to Journal Sampurasun : Interdisciplinary Studies for Cultural Heritage website for format and writing style. Manuscripts that violate general publication principles are not accepted.  Paper that has met the general publication principles is subjected first to plagiarism detection evaluation before it is formally accepted. Its level of originality should conform with the established norm of the journal.  A notice to this effect will be given to the authors the soonest possible time.

Authorship of the Paper

Authorship should be limited to those who have made a significant contribution to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the reported study. Where there are others who have participated in certain substantive aspects of the research project, they should be acknowledged or listed as contributors. The final version of the paper should have been approved by all co-authors before its submission for publication.

Duties of Authors

Reporting standards

Authors’ reports of original research should present an accurate account of the work performed as well as an objective discussion of its significance. Underlying data should be represented accurately in the paper. A paper should contain sufficient detail and references to permit others to replicate the work. Fraudulent or knowingly inaccurate statements that constitute unethical behaviour are unacceptable.

Data Access and Retention

Authors are asked to provide the raw data in connection with a paper for editorial review, and should be prepared to provide public access to such data (consistent with the ALPSP-STM Statement on Data and Databases), if practicable, and should in any event be prepared to retain such data for a reasonable time after publication.

Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest

The author should disclose in the manuscript any substantive conflict of interest that might be construed to influence the results or interpretation of the manuscript.

Hazards and Human / Animal Subjects

If the work involves chemicals, procedures or equipment that have any unusual hazards inherent in their use, the author must clearly identify these in the manuscript.

Fundamental errors in published works

When an author discovers a significant error or inaccuracy in his own published work, it is his obligation to promptly notify the journal editor or publisher and cooperate with the editor to retract or correct the paper. excuse himself from the review process.
